StarShine Foundation was established in 2005 by Vernon and Lucille Swaback to help with the start-up costs associated with new StarShine Academy schools. Since then, corporate sponsors, business leaders and individuals have donated funds and resources to establishing more schools, faster.

WHAT WE DO

StarShine Foundation is a separate division of the highly accredited and globally recognized, StarShine Academy International Schools, a 501 (c)3 charity for charter and small community schools. The foundation fund was first established in 2005 by our benefactors, Vernon and Lucille Swaback as a means to provide initial funds needed to open StarShine Academy schools in the United States and underdeveloped nations. 

 

THE STARSHINE FOUNDATION also assists graduates of StarShine Academy schools with college scholarships and international outreach internships at offshore StarShine Academy Schools. StarShine Academy International Schools' efforts are focused in communities and neighborhoods where the best schools have never grown before. We raise the expectations and abilities of  children, families and communities. Together, we will grow tomorrow's superstars.
